Dr. Utsarga Ghosh

Dr. Utsarga Ghosh earned his Ph.D. in English from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, under my guidance, in 2023. He completed his B.A. and M.A. in English Literature before pursuing doctoral research. He is proficient in both Bengali and English and actively engages in translation. His research interests include British and Indian literature, fictional writings, and translation studies.

The study positions translation as a form of creative negotiation that seeks to preserve the radical aesthetics and ideological provocations of Mishra’s fiction while making it accessible to a broader readership.
