She holds an M.A. from Jamia Millia Islamia and an M.Phil. from the Central University of Haryana where her focus was Dalit literature. Her research interests include folklore, performance traditions, translation studies, and the cultural politics of North India with particular attention to Haryana’s expressive cultures.
