Dr. Jagadeesan T. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Indian Languages at Banaras Hindu University, where he has been serving since 2016. With a strong academic background and expertise in Comparative Literary Studies, Translation Studies, and Teaching Tamil as a Second Language, Dr Jagadeesan has established himself as a distinguished scholar in his field. In addition to his academic roles, Dr Jagadeesan is a life member of the Comparative Literature Association of India (CLAI), having joined the organization in 2017. Since 2018, he has also served as an external subject expert on the Board of Studies for the Department of Tamil at Bhasha Bhavana, Visva Bharati.
