Dr. Joshua Gnanaselvan serves as Assistant Professor in the School of Business, Woxsen University at Telangana. He is a literary translator who translates from Tamil to English. As a translator he has to his credit a debut non-fiction titled Caste Away: Perspectives on Caste-Equality Struggles in Tamil Nadu published by Hachette India in 2024.

He pursued his PhD from the Department of English and Comparative Literature, Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod and has submitted his doctoral thesis on South Indian Dalit Theatre and Subjectivity.
